Are you up to the HSTM challenge?
HSTM 2025 is a two day Mathematics Competition for High School students aged between 15 and 18. It is open to teams from any high school in Asia. The language of the competition is English. It promotes team work, problem solving, communication skills and mathematical endeavor.
Teams will compete in 4 rounds; a problem solving round, a cross number round, a group round and a relay round. Prizes will be awarded for schools across various categories. The problems will be set so that they are accessible to students in their final three years of High School. No particular curriculum course is necessary nor provides any specific advantage in content.
In addition it is intended that students will work in buddy teams composed of students from different schools to solve problems outside the formal 4 round competition. There will be prizes for the best performances in this competition also.
There will also be a Maths Trail around the local area- again students will be in groups from different schools for this competition.
